Tips for Portrait Sessions
Please note that tips for Boudoir Sessions are different and will be e-mailed to you when you book your session.
Clothing:
- We encourage you to bring as many clothing choices as you wish.
- An extra change of clothes is always a good idea, especially with children.
- Avoid heavy, high-contrast patterns if possible.
- Sleeveless tops are not recommended for adult women.
- For group shots, solid colors work well. They don't have to match exactly, but they should work in some sort of a theme (pastels, earth tones, bold and bright, various shades of one color, etc)
What to bring:
- If you prefer not to get your clothes dirty, please bring a sheet or something light that you can sit on.
- Ladies - keep your powder and lipstick with you so that you can re-apply throughout the session.
- A rag or washcloth is always a good idea to dab yourself...just in case (this Texas heat is killer!).
- Personal items that reflect your hobbies or interests are great props. If your child has a favorite toy or blanket, please feel free to bring that along to capture this moment in time.
- Please have distractions available if your child gets cranky (snacks, juice, toys) but please keep them out of sight until they are needed.
When you book your session, please choose a time that is best for your children. Plan around naps and meals if possible.
